July Progress Report - Opening Our Clinic
We're back with another update. Fortunately, our clinic renovations are coming right along. We now have walls (with beautiful new coats of paint) and new floors. Next up, our friendly electrician will work on our lights, and our IT team will wire our office for internet and phones...
We now have walls (with beautiful new coats of paint) and new floors. Next up, our friendly electrician will work on our lights, and our IT team will wire our office for internet and phones.
Meanwhile, our credentialing agency has been hard at work, and we are delighted to share that we are now contracted with several insurers including Cigna, Medcost, and Medicaid. We are still waiting to hear back from several other big insurance payers (including BCBS and Aetna and United HealthCare), as we are hopeful to be in network with most of the major insurers.
We have been blown away by the caliber of nurses who share our vision and have applied to join our team. We know that hiring outstanding nursing staff is critical to our goal to provide the highest quality of pediatric care to our patients. We are hoping to make hiring decisions very soon!
And in between choosing paint colors, measuring for furniture, and interviewing nurses, we’ve also been busy ordering medical equipment and supplies and furniture. We have weekly calls with our buisness consultants, our EMR team, and our website designers who are putting the finishing touches on our website too.
All of these exciting updates mean that we are on track to open our doors in early fall (aiming for early October). And we’ll start registering patients in just a couple of weeks!
