Behind the Scenes - Opening Our Clinic

We are excited to share the details of what it takes to open our small, independent pediatric practice and have you follow along each step of the way.

CLINIC BUILD:
We are busy building walls, laying flooring, and painting anything that stays still in our new clinic space. We're making steady progress and, barring any major delays, we're on schedule to open our doors in Fall 2023! 

TECHNOLOGY:
Our fabulous Electronic Medical Record company (TriMed EHR) is building our state-of-the-art pediatric medical record system which includes a robust patient portal with options for messaging our team, online scheduling and bill pay, completion of forms prior to clinic visits (to help make your time in clinic as efficient as possible and minimize wait times) and a telemedicine platform. 
We are also excited to use Spruce Health, a HIPAA-compliant texting platform, to allow parents to communicate directly with Dr. Brown and our team.

INSURANCE CONTRACTS:
Did you know it takes months for a physician to be credentialed and contracted with the various insurers?
We started the process early this spring and are eagerly awaiting updates from all the major insurers to hear that we've been approved as in-network providers!

HIRING:
We know that the care we provide will depend, in large part, on having a stellar team. We have been fortunate enough to have incredible pediatric nurses apply to work at our practice and are diligently interviewing the many qualified applicants in order to assemble an all-star team to care for your children.
