September Update - Opening our Clinic

We are excited to be gaining momentum and entering the final stretch before opening our doors on October 9, 2023! 

Clinic Space (work in process)
We are starting to feel official watching the name of our clinic go up on the outside of the Greentree I Building (at the intersection of Westgate Center Drive and Westbrook Plaza Drive) and getting our mailbox key so we can officially start receiving mail at the office!
The clinic buildout is finally complete and now we're busy moving furniture and decorating! 


Insurance Contracting (work in process)
This week we received our Aetna contract! We're now officially contracted with Cigna, Medcost,Tricare, all the Medicaid plans except AmeriHealth and several other insurers (see a complete list on our website under the "Office Info" tab and "Insurance & Billing" section)....

And we continue to eagerly await updates from BCBS and United HealthCare. 
If you are interested in joining our practice and have either UHC or BCBS insurance we recommend you do two things:

1. Go ahead and register as a new patient to reserve your space (we will hold your registration until we're officially in network with your insurer) 
2. Consider calling your insurance company (the number on the back of your card) and requesting that Dr. Brown be in network with them as we’ve been advised that requests from patients may expediate the process of these insurers finalizing our new contract.

Registering new patients (next up)
We have been excited to watch the registration forms come pouring in and we are starting to process these applications. Should we hit our goal number of patients, we plan to start a waitlist and will hopefully open be able to accept more patients down the road. 
If you’ve already completed the New Patient Registration form, keep an eye out in the weeks ahead for a welcome email from CCWS offering portal access to finalize your registration as a new patient. Once you’re officially registered, families will be able to start scheduling appointments with Dr. Brown for October! 
If your child is due for a checkup this fall consider getting your registration in now in order to be eligible to schedule that appointment soon.



Open House (coming soon)
Stay tuned for details about our open house that we're planning to host a couple weeks before opening so that we can welcome patients' families and our friends and neighbors into our new space, and share it with everyone in our community who has been so supportive of our clinic.
