Kirsten Davis, MAEd, Practice Administrator

Kirsten has a genuine passion for promoting the overall well-being of children, youth and families. Her wide range of experiences have been the stepping stones to now bring her to the CCWS administrator role.

With a Masters degree in counseling from Wake Forest University (MAEd.), Kirsten began her career as a school counselor with the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County School System. She then served as an education trainer with an early childhood technology and school supply company. With this same company, Kirsten worked in Human Resources and then as marketing director. Later, when Kirsten was balancing life as a mother with two young children, she developed a program with a local pediatrician that focused on health, exercise and nutrition for teens and families. This program partnered with a local hospital and ran for nine years at multiple community locations, promoting overall health through both education and exercise classes.

For the past decade, Kirsten’s emphasis has been on securing mental healthcare for children and adolescents as a Behavioral Health Coordinator with a team of ten doctors at a local pediatrician’s office. Kirsten feels strongly that mental healthcare is a key component to overall physical health and enjoys helping others find their joy, which has led her to CCWS.

In her free time, Kirsten treasures time with her husband, Wes, and daughters, Maggie and Georgia. Kirsten is looking forward to getting to know each one of the CCWS families and is happy to help in each patient’s journey toward improved health and wellbeing.
